Senior Make-Up Exams (7:30 am) |
All senior students are exempt from final exams if they have earned a minimum of a 90 in the second semester course. This only applies to seniors.
Seniors who have qualified for an exemption from a final exam are excused from the period for which the final is scheduled, assuming they have met all responsibilities for that course.
All textbooks and course materials returned at the end of each exam, or by Thursday, June 8 (for Seniors), at the latest. Outstanding replacement costs and fees will jeopardize participation in the graduation ceremony.
JUNE 2023
GRADES 9 - 11: FINAL EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
All students must take their exams during their scheduled times. However, teachers may approve individual requests to take an exam early or late within the exam week. No final exams may be given prior to the exam week unless specifically approved by an assistant principal.
- Students who have an excused absence for a scheduled exam should make up that exam during the scheduled make-up period, unless they have another excused absence, need to make up multiple exams, or their teacher approves of an individual request as shared above. Summer make-up exams will be arranged by families with Student Services during late
June, or in the months of July or August for those students with extended excused absences.
Students need to come to school only when they have exams scheduled. If they choose to come to school during an unscheduled period, they must report to Commons in the cafeteria and will be given a pass elsewhere as necessary.
Students who are testing must be in the room at the start of the exam period. If they are late, they should report to the security desk to sign in and will be counted as tardy for that day.
Students who arrive in the classroom more than 20 minutes after the start of an exam will not be permitted to test but may make up the exam during the make-up period if their tardy is excused.
Students will not be excused early from an exam period.
Students will be dismissed at noon on exam days, and buses will depart at 12:05.
