Posted Date: 07/08/26 (09:00 AM)

Dear Senior and Junior families,

We hope you are having a great summer! We are looking forward to your return and to the new school year ahead.

Parking registration for for the 2026-2027 school year is now open for juniors and seniors possessing valid driver’s licenses.  Students with ONLY a Learner’s Permit should not register until a Driver’s License has been obtained.  The registration process is as follows:

STEP 1:  STUDENTS should complete the 2026-2027 Parking Registration Google Form using their ER9 EMAIL ACCOUNTS.

Families will be invoiced through Parent Square after the on-line registration form has been submitted. This typically occurs within 24 hours (excluding weekends) of submitting the Parking Registration Google Form.

STEP 2:  Print and complete the Joel Barlow High School Parking Agreement at home. Passes will not be issued without this form completed and signed by both a parent/guardian and student driver.

STEP 3:  Parking decals can then be picked up at the school’s main office starting on Monday, August 10, between the hours of 8:00 am and 2:30 pm. Proof of payment through ParentSquare or in the form of cash or check must accompany the completed parking agreement to receive a parking decal. The fee for a parking permit is $150.

Students with outstanding fees or obligations such as missing books or materials will not receive a parking decal until all fees have been paid or materials returned. Additional information about parking at Joel Barlow can be found on the attached Frequently Asked Questions document.

On-line registration forms will be processed by the main office as they are received and decals will be issued only to those meeting all eligibility requirements.

We hope that you enjoy the rest of your summer and look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Mario J. Almeida, Ed.D. Assistant Superintendent, Head of School
