Dear Joel Barlow Students and Families, 

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of Joel Barlow High School, I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year. I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun summer break. As we look forward to seeing our returning students for the first day of school on Wednesday, August 27, we extend an extra special welcome to the Class of 2029 and to our new students.  

We hope the information enclosed answers questions you may have and provides you with useful tips to help your student have a successful year.
