Directions to Joel Barlow High School

From Routes 84, 95 and 15 (Merritt Parkway)

Take Exit 10, Newtown. At the end of the ramp, turn right toward the "Newtown Business District." Follow the signs for Route 25. Continue through the business district to the flagpole (less than one mile).

Turn left at the flagpole and continue for approximately one half mile to the stop light at Route 302.

Turn right onto Route 302 and continue for approximately 6.3 miles. (There will be a stop light at approximately 5.5 miles; continue through it.)

The next light is the intersection of Route 302 and Route 58. Turn left onto Route 58 (also called Putnam Park Road). Continue for approximately 6.5 miles to Joel Barlow High School. The driveway is on your left around a bend in the road, just beyond the "Spinning Wheel" restaurant.

South - Take Exit 22 (Fairfield) - North Benson Road. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto North Benson Road (Route 135). Travel north on Route 135 to Route 58. Turn left onto Route 58 (Black Rock Turnpike) and travel north approximately 11 miles to the school driveway. The school is on the right, just around the bend past a gasoline station that is on the left.

North - Take Exit 22 (Fairfield) - Round Hill Road. At the end of the ramp, go straight to the light that is the junction with Route 135. Turn left onto Route 135 and travel north on Route 135 to Route 58. Turn left onto Route 58 (Black Rock Turnpike) and travel north approximately 11 miles to the school driveway. The school is on the right, just around the bend past a gasoline station that is on the left.

South - Take Exit 44 - Route 58 - Fairfield - Redding. At first light, take a left. At next light, take a right onto Route 58 toward Redding. Continue north for approximately 8.7 miles. Watch for Redding sign and then watch for a gasoline station on the left. The school will be just around the bend on the right.

North - Take Exit 44 - Route 58 - Fairfield - Redding. At end of exit ramp turn right. At the light, turn left on Route 58 toward Redding. Continue north for approximately 8.7 miles. Watch for Redding sign and then watch for a gasoline station on the left. The school will be just around the bend on the right.
